Overwhelmed was born from a season of burnout and the journey that followed—the healing, the reflection, and the rediscovery of who I am.

Every song on this album comes from a deeply personal place—moments of struggle, moments of growth, and moments when life felt too much to handle. Some were inspired by dreams, some by prayer, and all by the process of learning to find myself again.

For this project, I stepped out of my comfort zone and explored new studios instead of producing entirely at home. It was a way to speed up the process, but also to grow, learn, and push myself creatively in ways I hadn’t before.

Making Overwhelmed taught me so much about music, but more importantly, it taught me about myself—as an artist and as a person. And even since finishing this album, I’ve continued to grow, gaining clarity on who I am and what I want to create next.

This album is a snapshot of a moment in my journey: the space between feeling broken and becoming whole. It’s honest, vulnerable, and real.

My hope is that wherever you are—whether you’ve felt overwhelmed, lost, or in need of a reminder—you hear something in these songs that meets you right where you are.

 This album almost didn’t happen.

It started as a dream years ago—written in quiet moments, journal pages, prayers, and even in my dreams—before a season of burnout paused everything.

But after time, healing, and growth, I found my way back… and in 2020, I finally brought it to life.

This project represents a version of me that created purely from instinct, passion, and faith—before I had any real understanding of the music industry. There were no rules, no roadmap—just the need to express what I was living through.

Some songs came from pain, some from healing, some as declarations I had to speak over my own life—and some were even given to me in dreams.

I recorded this 17-track album from home, independently and without any industry guidance. I produced and arranged all of the vocals and harmonies on my own—long before I ever had formal training or voice lessons.

And I’m incredibly proud of that.

Because this project captures something you can’t manufacture—it’s raw, it’s honest, and it’s who I was in that moment.

Since then, I’ve grown tremendously in my craft, my voice, and my understanding of music. But this album will always be special to me, because it reminds me where it all started—and what I came through to create it.

I didn’t just write these songs—I lived them.

This is more than music—it’s a piece of my journey.

And this was only the beginning.

My hope is that wherever you are in your own story, these songs meet you there—and remind you that you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.

I also released Family Christmas Favorites, a simple acoustic project inspired by the songs that have brought comfort and meaning to my life over the years.

It’s a more intimate expression of my music, created to bring warmth, peace, and a sense of home to whoever listens.
